With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find a wealth of useful pages covering a wide range of health issues along with links to other relevant medical organisations.
We offer face to face and telephone appointments. Please call the surgery at 8.30am and join our telephone queue system. The reception staff will ask the reason for the appointment and where appropriate an appointment time will be given. Please note once the safety capacity for appointments, as set by the BMA, has been filled for the day you will be advised to call the next day.
The practice will not tolerate any verbal abuse directed to our reception staff once the appointments have been taken for the day. Staff are following the appointment system the GP's have put in place. We operate a zero tolerance policy which may result in a removal from the practice.
All cold/flu, sore throat and general pain relief medication can be supplied at any local pharmacy quoting the "pharmacy first" scheme available to all patients free of charge. Please make use of this free and convenient service for minor ailments prior to making a gp appointment or contacting nhs24.
